The Kiplinger Letter, last week, indicated that 70% or workers currently skip funding their 401(k). It amazes me that 70% of American workers are 1) turning down free money (in most cases) by missing the match and 2) must not understand that 401(k)’s are the base of their retirement.
Unless you are in a serious debt snowball, you should be taking advantage of your company’s 401(k). It is never too late to start, but it is far too late to do nothing!
