{"id":733,"date":"2011-05-31T10:05:12","date_gmt":"2011-05-31T14:05:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.myfinancialfocus.net\/mainsite\/?p=733"},"modified":"2025-08-24T06:39:04","modified_gmt":"2025-08-24T10:39:04","slug":"graduation-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.myfinancialfocus.net\/mainsite\/index.php\/graduation-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Graduation Day!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today is the final day of high school for my baby daughter, Morgan. \u00a0Actually, she has not been to class in over a week, but tonight she walks across the stage to get the paper she has worked hard for.<\/p>\n<p>Looking at some pictures over the weekend has reminded me how fast she has grown. \u00a0Time waits on none of us for sure. \u00a0I trust that her mother and I have taught her, and she has learned well, how to live her life.<\/p>\n<p>From a financial point, I think she is getting it. \u00a0Since she has started working, she has learned to better manage her money. \u00a0Some who read this, including her, will remember that I used to call her a &#8220;future client&#8221;. \u00a0Last week, I forwarded a text of a restaurant who had a special that night. \u00a0Her reply to me was, &#8220;no cash&#8221;!<\/p>\n<p>Tonight begins a new phase of her life. \u00a0This fall she will be entering college to build on the music talent she already has.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations Morgan on your big day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is the final day of high school for my baby daughter, Morgan. \u00a0Actually, she has not been to class in over a week, but tonight she walks across the stage to get the paper she has worked hard for.
