Many of you are spending the last few days and even hours before you hit time off for the holidays. Can you believe that this year is all but gone? Time sure flies!<\/p>\n

For a minute, think back to the goals that you had for this year. Have you achieved them? Some? Any?<\/p>\n

Next year is just around the corner. Before it gets here do these five things to make sure you are successful in your goal achievement for next year.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Reflect – Look back on the goals you set. \u00a0Were you successful? \u00a0What prevented you from accomplishing your plans? \u00a0Determine what you will do differently in 2011.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Plan – Identify the areas where you are setting goals. \u00a0What are your desires? \u00a0Why are they important to you and\/or others around you?<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Write Down – Get your goals down on paper. \u00a0Be specific in what you are to accomplish and, if you can, break them up into manageable tasks.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Set Target Dates – For every goal and\/or task make sure a date of completion is set. \u00a0When do you want to achieve this goal? \u00a0Realistically how long will it take? \u00a0What other goals must be complete before other goals? \u00a0Get dates down and manage to your dates.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Celebrate – When you are successful on a goal – celebrate. \u00a0reward yourself for the good job you did.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Take some time now, before the business of the holidays, and set goals for what you want to accomplish this next year. \u00a0Before you know it, 2011 will be over too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
