{"id":396,"date":"2010-10-22T10:26:51","date_gmt":"2010-10-22T14:26:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.myfinancialfocus.net\/mainsite\/?p=396"},"modified":"2025-08-24T06:39:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-24T10:39:11","slug":"did-you-leave-something-behind","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.myfinancialfocus.net\/mainsite\/index.php\/did-you-leave-something-behind\/","title":{"rendered":"Did You Leave Something Behind?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Whether we left the company or the company decided we should leave, most of us have been affected by a job change. \u00a0It can be a dreadful time or it can be a welcome time of a new opportunity. \u00a0With all the activities areound the change, you may unintentionally leave something behind &#8211; your personal retirement account.<\/p>\n<p>Whether a 401(k), a 457, 403(b) &#8211; whatever the magical IRS number, people sometimes leave their retirement account behind at with their former employer. \u00a0Many just feel comfortable with the investments that they have made. \u00a0Others leave it because they are not sure how to make the move. \u00a0Still others did not even know they could move it.<\/p>\n<p>Is this you?
