I have been honored this month to have the ability to teach on the subject of leaving a legacy. \u00a0My pastor reached out to me once he settled on the thought of this month about all of us leaving a legacy.<\/p>\n

It would be very rewarding to share that I have really hit people hard with this thought of the legacy that they will leave, but honestly it has been very eye-opening. \u00a0Leaving a legacy has been a challenge to me and I hope to others.<\/p>\n

The first week I asked the group who had given any thought to the legacy that they would leave or, better stated, had anyone thought of leaving a legacy. \u00a0My suspicions were confirmed when I had 6-7 hands go up in a room that had 100-125 people. \u00a0Very few, prior to the concept being mentioned, had thought of what they would do or what they were doing.<\/p>\n

What about you?<\/p>\n

My three points to this date have been this:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Consumed with Consumption<\/strong> – it is VERY hard to leaving something financially when you cannot get passed living only for today.<\/li>\n
  2. You Must Have a Vision<\/strong> – every person who did something big, had a dream or vision to do something big. \u00a0It did not just happen.<\/li>\n
  3. You Must Be Intentional<\/strong> – When you are intentional with your plans, you succeed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    It is something we all should be thinking about. \u00a0Obviously, the premise is our finances and what we are blessed with, but it is applicable in all areas where we will leave a legacy.<\/p>\n

    You will leave a legacy in every area of your life. \u00a0What is unknown is what type or how big that legacy will be. \u00a0The positive thing is that you an begin today!<\/p>\n

    Max Lucado shared a great quote, “Outlive your life.”. \u00a0What kind of legacy are you leaving?<\/p>\n
