Today marks the 10 year anniversary of my wife and I deciding we were tired of living beyond paycheck to paycheck – in fact WAY BEYOND paycheck to paycheck. Ten years ago today, November 15, 2003, was the day we really committed.<\/p>\n

We were broke. By definition, we owed more than we could pay and were feeling the pain. The pinch had been felt years before.<\/p>\n

I would love to tell you that my wife was on onboard, but I am not sure that either one of us were. We just wanted relief.<\/p>\n

It sure was nice knowing we had come together and ‘committed’ to this. Unfortunately, we did not know on that Saturday morning at the campground that Monday morning was looming……<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
