{"id":118,"date":"2010-04-13T01:48:27","date_gmt":"2010-04-13T01:48:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.myfinancialfocus.net\/mainsite\/?p=118"},"modified":"2025-08-24T06:39:19","modified_gmt":"2025-08-24T10:39:19","slug":"more-social-media","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.myfinancialfocus.net\/mainsite\/index.php\/more-social-media\/","title":{"rendered":"More Social Media"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, I tried it.\u00a0 Last night I spent some time trying to get in the Facebook generation.\u00a0 Like I mentioned in a previous blog, I am not sure that I want to be a part of the Facebook crowd &#8211; specifically, I alluded to the social media craze.\u00a0 But, I gave it a shot.<\/p>\n<p>I heard that I could have a fan page and just have \u201cfans\u201d join or follow or be my friend \u2013 whatever they call it.\u00a0 So, I tried it.<\/p>\n<p>I had everything setup to have a fan page.\u00a0 All seemed to be going well until the system (Facebook) wanted all my personal information.\u00a0 I just wanted to setup my business.<\/p>\n<p>So, I deactivated my account.\u00a0 I left some parting comments that will allow them to set me up like I want \u2013 if they want.\u00a0 If they can work it out, I may be back on there, but not like your normal \u2018Facebooker\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>All I wanted was a presence to send my blog entries to and my Tweets.\u00a0 Guess I was expecting too much.<\/p>\n<p>Do you have any insight on how to make this happen?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, I tried it.\u00a0 Last night I spent some time trying to get in the Facebook generation.\u00a0 Like I mentioned in a previous blog, I am not sure that I want to be a part of the Facebook crowd &#8211; specifically, I alluded to the social media craze.\u00a0 But, I gave it a shot.
